    We even see the efficacy of a protein rich/fat rich low carbohydrate diet in large populations. There are hunter gatherer tribes all over the world NOW that don’t have access to carbohydrates, and subsist on a diet of meat, nuts, seeds, and vegetables. And even among the SEDENTARY elders who no longer hunt, they are slim and suffer no degenerative diseases. One doesn’t need a degree in nutrition to understand this, one only need look at a National Geographic special.

    @muzicluva000

    You are a moron meat is one of the best foods for you period no-one has ever doubted that with basic knowledge of nutrition.

    And fruit is not amazing for you seriously come back more educated.

    @FORCEDANARCHY

    Fuck all is muscle I’m using the atkins diet to get ripped for the summer quickly, and it’s working.You do not simply damage organs in ketosis.

    Dr Atkins died from a fall not dieting and at the beggining until you get used to it you will no longer look like shit.

    Other diets are to hard for most people to follow you will fail witht hem.

    @muzicluva000 Fruits are sugary, they have carbs. Meat is full of protein it can get you ripped.

  5. FORCEDANARCHY says:

    @Hivort Why would I want to be thin? I prefer being lean, fit, in shape. Go back to nature, eat real food, and when I say real food not the dead cow processed crap Adkins pushes I mean fruits, veggies, beans, brown rice. Sure you can lose weight on Adkins but much of the weight loss is lean muscle and in ketosis you can damage vital organs. No wonder Adkins is dead and most people I see doing Adkins look like hell!

  6. Hivort says:

    i just have on comment, it works

  7. Hivort says:

    @FORCEDANARCHY yeah do that, spent all ur life eating crap and never getting thin,

    or maybe u can just make atkins diet for a couple of weeks and start having a good alimentation

  8. Hivort says:

    @muzicluva000 this is not so simple dude, this diet really works anyway

  9. marianegroable says:

    And they call this fat-loving dude a Doctor MD?
    Common sense: eating lots of fat will clog your arteries.

    Period

  10. lonelymarker says:

    @muzicluva000 Yeah! Seriously! How dare science tread on your beliefs! Wtf!

  11. Rjackman84 says:

    So many people get the induction phase mixed up with the entire diet, you can eat carbs in Atkins and if you are really active you may need a little more than a normal person. It’s not hard.

  12. muzicluva000 says:

    what the fucking hell. fruit is good for you, meat is bad for you. its that simple…

  13. dim432 says:

    i Mean imagine a 24 stone man decided to Either go for The sucide Atkins diet or salad for the next 5 years, if he chose atkins he will comite suicide and die that is true..

  14. roottruthseeker says:

    @dim432 which also happens to be a side effect of life as well. True story.

  15. FORCEDANARCHY says:

    Everyone I have EVER known who have done these stuff your face with dead animal diets look like hell! Yes you can lose weight but these diets are for people who want a diet where they don’t have to think or use common sense. Processed meat and similar foods are not going to make you healthy. Go back to nature, exercise, and for the love of God use your brains! Water, raw fruits, veggies, and exercise—don’t limit yourself on any of these.

  16. Stayrsaigh says:

    @sw33tlildreamerx Here here, it’s only the first 2 weeks that the diet is restricted, carbs, fruit and vegatables are reintroduced in later phases! Well said sir!

  17. jailstop says:

    @rockcityaudio That is the very same mind set I have when it comes to food. Before I eat I run for 20 to 60 mins simulating the “hunt”. Thats the problem with allot of people they don’t understand that just like all animals we are made to work for every meal.

  18. greeniem says:

    @rockcityaudio you fag

  19. rockcityaudio says:

    people should not be confused…its simple think about it!.
    imagine you are in the wild,I mean really out there surviving.
    all food will be limited and no chips no bread or useless foods from packets grow on trees.
    so small amounts of fruits,small amounts of meat/ fish and good amounts of veggies. don’t eat meat everyday(skilled hunters don’t!)its too hard to catch!.
    no oils,no cookies,no chips, no sodas,nothing that’s packaged and processed.
    and a nice drink of water now and again. that’s it!

    @mzoljones wow someone actually took me seriously? does anyone here have a sense of humor? i was quoting foamy the squirrel. wow you people actually believe i was serious….. shows how smart people are these days -_-

  21. ginalovesribena says:

    I lowered my carb intake for about a week I think it was and everyone noticed i’d lost weight. I think I must have lost about 5 pounds, it was such a suprise, but you have to stick to it otherwise it all comes back!

  22. dim432 says:

    The other side effect is death

  23. mzoljones says:

    the Atkins diet that I follow emphasizes eating plenty of vegetables…Atkins is LOW carb…I eat everything except for white flour, sugar, & processed foods…what’s unhealthy about that??

  24. mzoljones says:

    thanks for caring! Been eating the Atkins way for 2 years, I have lost 103lbs, and I have had my blood workup x3 in the past year…and the results were excellent each time! I have tons of energy and I feel wonderful!

  25. mzoljones says:

    u know absolutely NOTHING about the atkins diet…I’ve read the book and followed this way of eating for 2 years… Atkins emphasizes eating plenty of vegetables, fish, chicken, healthy fat such as almonds, avocado, etc…where did you get your “tons of bacon” info……obviously from someone who was NOT doing the Atkins diet …eating tons of bacon unhealthy and stupid as hell….and no fruit, LOL! FYI, I eat everything except for white flour, processed foods, and sugar….
