		<description>I have a &quot;should kids do low carb?&quot; video, which talks about this issue.  The short answer is yes they should restrict their intake of &quot;whites&quot; (sugars, starches, flour, etc.) and decrease their overall carbohydrate intake.  To do the full blown Atkins starting at 20g per day, it takes a really mature mind to understand the lifelong journey.  It might be just enough to do the first step (like Atkins Maintenance phase) and start from there.</description>

Considering I was very lazy at that time, I was probably burning 2000 calories a day. So that would make an extra 1000 calories each day. The obvious question is: Where did the extra calories go?</description>
